2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Forest Case No. 104 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 41 and 42 of the Indian Forest Act.
3. As per allegation, the complainant being the Forest Range Officer, was informed that, the petitioner and other accused persons used to sell wooden furniture having got the trees cut from side of the road and canal.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He is a person of clean antecedent. Nothing was recovered from his possession.
5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17027 of 2024(2) dt.14-03-2024 2/2 circumstances, especially the clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Forest Case No. 104 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
