Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Submission is that Ganja was recovered from the possession of co-accused Md. Jahangir who disclosed to the police that he had purchased the same from this petitioner. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and nothing incriminating was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18064 of 2018 (2) dt.02-04-2018 2/2 the case is pending in connection with Special Case No. 162 of 2017 arising out of Phulwari Sharif Police Station Case No. 678 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
