2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Daniyawan P.S. Case No.4 of 2021, lodged under Section 304B and 34 of the I.P.C.
3. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 03.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.8556 of 2023 in which direction was given to the trial court to expedite the trial within 9 months.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that about one year has been lapsed, but trial has not been concluded.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that progress report has been called for. From the progress report, it has been intimated that out of 8 witnesses, examination of 5 witnesses has already been taken place and there is every likelihood that trial shall be concluded within 6 months.
6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected, but liberty is hereby granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after 6 months. (Dr. Anshuman, J.) Prakashmani/- U T
