2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners seeks to avail the appropriate remedy in accordance with law, in the light of law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of State of Karnataka & Others Vs. Ameerbi & Ors., reported in (2007) 11 SCC 681.

3. Considering the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the petitioners, the petitioners may avail appropriate
