The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Dandari P.S. Case No. 15 of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Section 354 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3(i)(x) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

The informant alleged that the petitioner demanded bicycle from her, but on refusal the petitioner assaulted her. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not demanded the bicycle from the informant. No offence under Sections 3(i)(x) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act is made out. Some altercation took place between the informant and the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16833 of 2015 (2) dt.06-05-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner assaulted a school going girl, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
