JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-06-2022 The present petition has been filed for extending the time granted to the petitioners, vide order dated 02.03.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. no. 8872 of 2020, to surrender before the learned court of 2nd Additional Sessions Jude-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran in connection with Baniapur PS case no. 03 of 2020 and avail the privilege of bail.
The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners were/ are working as labour in Gujarat at Surat and on account of lock-down, they could not surrender and furnish bail bonds within time, hence lenient view be taken and the petitioners be granted further time to surrender before the learned court below and avail the privilege of bail.

No.22182 of 2022(2) dt.23-06-2022 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the averments made in the present petition, the present petition is allowed and the time granted to the petitioners herein for surrendering before the learned court of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excisse, Saran in connection with Baniapur PS case no. 03 of 2020 and furnishing bail bond in order to avail the privilege of bail is extended by a further period of four weeks from today.
The present petition stands disposed off with the aforesaid modification in the order dated 02.03.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. no. 8872 of 2020.
