The petitioner happens to be the Mukhiya and the allegation against her is for purchasing of solar light in violation of the Govt. Rules.

Contention on behalf of the petitioner is that the decision for purchase of solar light was unanimous decision of the Committee and the petitioner is not sole responsible for the aforesaid decision.

Considering the facts and circumstances as well as submission of learned counsel, let the petitioner Hermuna Devi, in the event of her arrest or surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial
