Petitioners, already in custody, seek bail in connection with Darpa P.S. Case No.23 of 2017, registered under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation in brief is that the victim herself stated in her fardebyan before her death that her husband used to make demand of motorcycle and other items and on the alleged day her husband including these two petitioners caught hold, pour K. Oil and set fire on her body.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are father-in-law and elder brother of the husband of the deceased and they were living separately; whereas the

No.19415 of 2018(2) dt.04-04-2018 2/2 learned counsel for the State submits that the victim herself before her death specifically alleged that these two petitioners also participated in setting fire on her body after pouring K. Oil. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer of bail of the petitioners is presently rejected in connection with Darpa P.S. Case No.23 of 2017 pending in the court of SDJM, Raxaul at Motihari, East Champaran.
However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
