JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 31-07-2017 The petitioner is an accused in case under sections 30 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Prosecution case is that some cartoon containing liquor was recovered from a vehicle being driven by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the owner of the vehicle is in custody and he had no knowledge as to what was being carried in the cartoon.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner as mentioned above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Sessions Judge VII cum Special Judge (Excise), Nalanda at Biharsharif in Rajgir Police station Case No. 72 of 2017.
