The petitioner is in custody in connection with Case No.C2-636 of 2017, a case under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, pending in the Court of Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi.

About 22 liters of liquor was allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 08.11.2017. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5028 of 2018 (2) dt.29-01-2018 P2/ amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
