JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 11-03-2019 Despite the petitioner having been engaged as Sweeper in the respondent bank way back in the year 1998 and his having worked ever since then, his services have not been regularized.
2. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that such regularization is expected in terms of the bipartite settlement of the bank with the labour union.
3. This Court, without expressing any opinion about the merits of the claim of the petitioner for being regularized
Patna High Court CWJC No.4464 of 2019 dt.11-03-2019 2/2 or the declaration of the concerned bank with respect to rights of such daily wagers, directs the petitioner to make a detailed representation which has already been made and recommended before the Regional Office of the Bank and which has not yet been acted upon, within a period of four weeks from today. On receipt of such representation, the petitioner would be made known his fate by a reasoned order within a further period of eight weeks thereafter.
4. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition is disposed off.
