1. Heard the parties.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners have completed pre-Ph.D course work on 04.10.2016 and have submitted synopsis but the meeting of Post Graduate Research Council (P.G.R.C.) was not
Patna High Court CWJC No.4668 of 2019(5) dt.05-02-2024 2/2 being held, as such, the registration of the petitioners was not done for Ph.D courses. Accordingly, the present writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondent/University to hold the meeting of Post Graduate Research Council (P.G.R.C.).

Mr. Siddharth Prasad, learned counsel appearing for the Magadh University, under instruction from his client, submits that petitioners name have already been recommended by the Post Graduate Research Council (P.G.R.C.) for registration in Ph.D for research under the supervision of Ms. Sunita Suman, Professor of P.G. Department in Psychology, and the topic has also been approved.
4. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the University, this writ application has become infructuous, accordingly, the present writ application is dismissed as infructuous.
