JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 05-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 272/273/290 of the Indian Penal Code.

From the referred scorpio vehicle foreign liquor was recovered.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2017 and has got no criminal antecedent. He was simply a passenger of the said vehicle and had no knowledge about the recovered liquor. Considering the aforesaid submission, let petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29457 of 2017 (2) dt.05-07-2017 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/-(Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Lakhisarai/Successor Court, in connection with Lakhisarai (Kabaiya) P.S. Case No.136 of 2017, with condition that petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the Court-below shall be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of the bail-bonds of the petitioner in this case.
