JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 17-05-2019 This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Daraunda P.S. Case No. 218 of 2017, disclosing offences under Sections 498(A), 341, 323, 307, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Allegation as per F.I.R. is that the informant was subjected to cruelty and harassment by the petitioner and others with respect to demand of property as the informant was the only daughter of her parents and the petitioner alleged to have sprinkled Kerosene oil on her and set her on fire. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that she is sister-in-law (Nanad) of the informant and has falsely

Heard learned A.P.P. also and perused the impugned order, from which, it appear that there were five injuries on the person of the informant Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner rather may move the court below for grant of regular bail, which will be disposed of by the court below on the merit of the case, without being prejudiced by this order.
