In this case, the petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Silao (Nalanda) P.S. Case No. 176 of 2006 registered for offences under sections 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the present case, an allegation has been made that the Barat party was coming to Ashiyana Nagar, Patna. In the midway, at Silao, the road was blocked by the accused persons for the purpose of committing dacoity. In the light of the vehicles and torch, the accused persons were identified. Further allegation has been made that the accused persons lifted one lady singer but, after hue and cry, she was released.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13422 of 2019(2) dt.07-03-2019 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that all the charge-sheet witnesses have been acquitted in the trial. The occurrence is of the year 2006 and the present anticipatory bail application has been filed on 2.3.2019 which itself shows that the petitioners have no apprehension of their arrest by the police.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
