JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "i) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, commanding and directing the respondent to grant promotion to the petitioner on the post of Accountant with effect from 13.10.2023 in view of the Resolution No.19300 dated 13.10.2023, by which the juniors to the petitioners have been granted promotion but

ii) After grant of promotion to the petitioners on the post of Accountant, since juniors to the petitioners have been given promotion to the said posts and the petitioners were deprived and further a direction to pay all the consequential monetary benefits to the petitioners on account of promotion to the post of Assistant Accountant.

Iii) For a direction to the respondents to pay the consequential monetary benefit with 12% interest since due to evasive attitude of the respondents, the petitioner suffered a lot"

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent no.2, i.e. the General Manager-cum-the Chairman, Departmental Screening Committee, Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited, Patna for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case

Patna High Court CWJC No.4480 of 2024(2) dt.22-03-2024 3/3 appropriate representation is filed, within a period of two weeks from today, the respondent no.2 shall dispose off the same by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
