The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sakra P.S. Case No. 268 of 2017 dated 17.07.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner was spotted by the informant, while he was trying to take away his motorcycle. Later, the petitioner was apprehended and the motorcycle was recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the offences remained inchoate as while the petitioner was making efforts to take away motorcycle, he was arrested. The petitioner is in custody since 17.07.2017 and does not bear any criminal antecedent.

Taking into account the aforesaid facts, the petitioner
