Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is husband of the victim of dowry death. Informant is father of the victim. Some other co-accused faced trial in a Sessions Trial No. 492 of 2017 wherein the informant was examined as P.W. 1. He stated that on suspicion, he had lodged the case, rather there was never any legal demand or torture to the victim at the hands of in-laws. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7368 of 2018 (5) dt.26-03-2018 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bajpatti Police Station Case No. 170 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
