2. The accused/petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 253 of 2024 registered for the offences under Sections 103, 3(5) and 61(2) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023 (in short, the 'B.N.S.') and 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate - 1st Class, East Champaran, Motihari.

3. The accused/petitioner is named in the First Information Report and is in custody since 17.10.2024.

4. As per FIR, the informant alleged that her daughter namely, Sima Devi was shot dead when she was

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13579 of 2025(7) dt.21-08-2025 2/2 sleeping in her house. She has apprehension that accused persons named in the FIR including this petitioner have committed the murder of her daughter by hatching conspiracy.

It transpires out of submission advanced by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that the prayer of bail of similarly situated co-accused persons namely, Jokhu Prasad and Muslim Alam has been rejected by different learned coordinate Benches of this Court through Cr. Misc. No. 9858/2025 and Cr. Misc. No. 9884/2025 vide order dated 16.05.2025 and 12.05.2025 respectively through detailed order.

6. The aforesaid submission also approved by learned A.P.P. for the State that the case of the petitioner is not on different footing.

7. In view of the aforesaid, the prayer of bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
