Heard the parties.
The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 627 of 2020 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 32 and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Recovery of illicit liquor has been made from the agricultural field of the petitioner, who was not found on the spot. Petitioner has clean antecedent.
Considering the aforesaid facts, this application for anticipatory bail is allowed.
Accordingly, let petitioner, above-named, in the event
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14812 of 2022(2) dt.08-04-2022 2/2 of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 627 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
