The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Sections 272, 273 and 290 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30 (a), 50(g), 57 and 60 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is contended that as per allegation, 524 bottles each containing 180 ml and 24 bottles each containing 375 ml of foreign liquor were allegedly recovered from the dickey of the car of which the petitioner is said to be the driver. Considering the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari in connection with Chakiya P.S. Case No. 128 of 2017 with a condition that if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
