The petitioner seeks bail in Excise G.R. No. 840 of 2018 arising out of Nawanagar P.S. Case No. 212 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that 2456.050 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from a truck. Petitioner was driver of the aforesaid truck.

Keeping in view the recovery of huge quantity of liquor from the truck and petitioner was driver of the aforesaid truck, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail stands
