The petitioner, in the present case, is seeking regular bail in connection with Sonpur P.S. Case No.455 of 2017, registered for offences alleged under Sections 420, 467, 468, 469, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 3 and 4 of the Bihar Conduct of Examination Act, 1981 and Section 66D of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been apprehended by police on mere suspicion and the only material which has been found in his possession was a mobile which belongs to him. He further points out that this petitioner has no criminal antecedent and similarly situated

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4634 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 persons namely Vikash Kumar @ Pappu and Uma Shankar Yadav have been granted privilege of regular bail in Cr.Misc.No.59773 of 2017 and Cr.Misc.No.61083 of 2017 by different co-ordinate Benches of this Court.

Learned counsel for the State is present and submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that he was a setter of the examination.

In the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.15,000/- (fifteen thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in connection with Sonpur P.S. Case No.455 of 2017, subject to the conditions U/S 437(3) Cr.P.C. (Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, J) Arvind/- U T
