Dead body of deceased was recovered from a pond during course of search when she became missing while she had gone to purchase onion having given ante-mortem injuries over her person, she was throttled. The location happens to be near brick-kiln of Barun Sangahi where anti-social activities was being carried out.

None is an eye witness to occurrence. The witnesses have shown suspicion. Furthermore, as is evident, the name of petitioner cropped up during course of inculpatory extra-judicial confessional statement of Barun Sangahi (Para-30).
