Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Recovery of foreign liquor is alleged from a four wheeler. Petitioners were also in the same vehicle. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent nor they have any concern with the recovered liquor. Petitioners are in custody since 26.01.2019.

Considering the entire facts including completion of investigation, let the petitioners, above named, be

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14266 of 2019(2) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with CIS No.93 of 2019 arising out of Madanpur Police Station Case No.18 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
