The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sahebganj P.S. Case No. 444 of 2018 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 36, 38(ii) and 41(i) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that the recovery of illicit liquor has been made from the commercial vehicle which is registered in the name of the petitioner, as is evident from Annexure-2. Petitioner has no criminal history.
