Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in the complaint petition is that the petitioner and others attempted to ravish the informant. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is in custody since 14.03.2018. The present false case has been lodged just to pressurize. Sister of the informant has also lodged Complaint Case No. 24 of 2008 against the petitioner and other family members including female members of the family alleging that they committed house trespass, assault and theft in the house.

No.22611 of 2018 (2) dt.23-04-2018 2/2 Considering the background and nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Tr. No. 601 of 2017 arising out of Complaint Case No. 996 of 2009, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
