2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Karpi P.S. Case No. 199/2024, registered for offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 117(2), 109, 74, 303(2), 352 & 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. On account of dispute relating to land, it is alleged that co-accused Mustafa Alam assaulted informant by means of hammer and this petitioner assaulted Afsar Alam on his head by means of Khanti. This petitioner is also alleged to have snatched gold chain worth Rs. 55,000/- from the neck of informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to land dispute between the parties, Maarpeet took place, in which, both sides sustained injury. Case and counter case. Petitioner also suffered injury in the alleged occurrence.

5. Learned counsel for the informant and State opposed the bail prayer of petitioner. Learned counsel for the informant submits that the injury, caused by this petitioner, is grievous in nature.

6. Considering the nature of injury, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
