Sangeeta Sharma ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 13-05-2020 Perused the record and heard learned counsel for the State through video conferencing in view of the total lock-down on account of COVID-19 pandemic.

In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Ladaniya P.S. Case No.11 of 2020 (G.R. No. 125 of 2020) registered for offence punishable under sections 272, 273, 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Allegation has been made that about 180 litres of illegal liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 23.01.2020.

Considering the period of custody, the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12584 of 2020(2) dt.13-05-2020 2/2 named above, is directed to be released on bail on his personal bond to the satisfaction of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Ladaniya P.S. Case No.11 of 2020 (G.R. No.125 of 2020), subject to the condition that if the petitioner is found involved in similar type of case in future, the prosecution will be at liberty to file an application for cancellation of his bail bond.
