2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered under sections 498(A) and 323 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Allegation against the petitioner is of committing torture upon the victim due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation. The report dated 27.09.2024 of the learned Mediator has been tagged as Flag-M to this application.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21513 of 2024(5) dt.20-11-2024 2/2 named above, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below, where the case is pending/Successor court, in connection with Complaint Case No. 2052-C/2022, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
6. It is made clear that if the petitioner fails to comply with the report of the learned Mediator, the opposite party no.2 would be at liberty to file an application before the learned court below to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) Guddu/- U T
