This is an application for regular bail in connection with Dariyapur P. S. Case no. 164 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant is brother of the deceased who in his written complaint has stated that sister of the petitioner was married to petitioner ten years ago. Thereafter, her in-laws subjected her to torture for non-fulfilment of dowry. On 19.6.2017 he was informed by the deceased-sister that they would kill her if motorcycle and Rs.25,000/- were not provided to them. On 27.6.2017 at 3 P.M. he received information on his mobile phone that his sister had been killed and thereafter they have concealed her dead body.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6190 of 2018(3) dt.28-02-2018 2/2 It has been submitted on behalf of petitioner that he is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There was no occasion of demand of dowry after ten years of marriage and statement of the son of the petitioner and the deceased has been recorded during investigation. It has been stated that petitioner was not present in the house at the time when the deceased was being assaulted by others. It has further been submitted that other co-accused have already been granted bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Saran, in connection with Dariyapur P.
