ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 01-02-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner has been in custody since 13.12.2017 in connection with Kochas (Parsathua) P.S. Case No. 118 of 2016 for the offence registered under Sections 406, 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for 150 quintals of paddy which was the subject matter of Confiscation Case No. 03 of 2002, an enquiry was conducted in the year 2016, in which, the name of the petitioner has surfaced. It is further submitted that though it is recorded in the case that the paddy in question had been kept in the safe custody of Ranjan Kumar Sah, the said Ranjan Kumar Sah has now taken the name of the present petitioner leading to his arrest in connection with the present case.

No.5517 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.C.J.M., 1st, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Kochas (Parasthua) P.S. Case No. 118 of 2016 corresponding to G.R. No. 1822 of 2016.
