This is an application seeking modification of the order dated 25.01.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 3868 of 2019, whereby the application of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail was allowed and she was directed to be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19380 of 2020(2) dt.03-11-2021 2/3 before the Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order, on her furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 347 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that because of some unavoidable circumstances, she could not surrender before the Court below within the stipulated period.

For the reasons stated in the application, the prayer is allowed.

The order dated 25.01.2019 is modified to the extent that if the petitioner/Rinku Das surrenders before the Court below within a period of eight weeks from today, she shall be released on anticipatory bail on the same terms and conditions as laid down in the order dated 25.01.2019. The order dated 25.01.2019 stands modified to
