The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No. 342 of 2018 registered for the offences under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

On consideration of the materials available on the record, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer is rejected.

However, the District & Sessions Judge, Khagaria, is directed to take steps for conclusion of the trial of the case by Fast Track Court within a period of nine months. In the event the trial is not concluded within the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12456 of 2020(4) dt.25-06-2020 2/2 aforesaid period and if there is no any laches on the part of the petitioner in conclusion of the trial, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after nine months.
