Mrs.Renu Kumari ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-08-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 365, 366, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner along with other accused persons kidnapped the informant for the purpose of marriage.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the case. It is further submitted that there was love affair between the petitioner and the victim and due to Covid marriage could not be solemnized and due to that this forged and fabricated case has been lodged.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14797 of 2022(2) dt.23-08-2022 2/2 prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the nature of accusation, gravity of the offence and the statement of victim recorded u/s 164 of the Cr. P.C. in which she fully supported the prosecution case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
