2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ara Muffasil P.S. Case No. 117/2023 (S.T. No.495 of 2023), lodged on 13.03.2029 under Sections 302, 201, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 11.10.2023 passed in Cr. Miscellaneous No. 52051 of 2023. He further submits that on earlier occasion, a report with regard to the present stage of trial has been called for.
4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26908 of 2024(3) dt.03-07-2024 2/2 for bail.
5. From perusal of report, it transpires that the charge has already been framed and the trail is likely to be concluded within 12 months.
6. In the present facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Ara Muffasil P.S. Case No. 117/2023 (S.T. No.495 of 2023), pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge VIII Bhojpur at Ara is hereby rejected.
8. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail if the trial shall not be concluded within 12 months from today.
