The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 399/402 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a/26 of the Arms Act. The petitioner is in custody since 22.10.2017. Submission is that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Investigation is already complete and he is ready to cooperate with the trial.
Considering the fact that a pistol and cartridge were recovered from the possession of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of nine months of custody if the trial is not completed in the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16728 of 2018 (2) dt.26-03-2018 P2/ meantime on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Manpur P.S. Case No.150 of 2017, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
