Heard Mr. Raj Kishor Prasad, learned advocate for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.

The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No. 146 of 2020 dated 10.04.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 325, 307, 379, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Out of nine accused persons named in the F.I.R. for causing injuries to some of the victims, the petitioners also have been named in that list but, the accusation is absolutely general

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the cause of occurrence is something else than what has been reported in the F.I.R.

Be that as it may, considering the futility of any litigation between the parties, the Informant has chosen not to prosecute the petitioners any further. Towards that end, an application for compounding has already been filed before the court below.

Regard being had to the aforestated facts, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No. 146 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
