The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 313, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demand against the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the informant is not ready to live with the petitioner and she wants to live in her Maika while the petitioner is always ready to keep the informant with full honour and dignity. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is ready to pay of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25081 of 2021(4) dt.03-03-2022 2/3 Rs.2,00000/- (Rs. Two lacs only) as lump-sum by way of settlement.

In the alternative, the petitioner is ready to pay Rs. 2,00000/- (Rs. Two lacs only) to the informant as maintenance. The petitioner is also ready to make payment of Rs. 1,00000/- (One lac) to the informant at the time of furnishing bail bond and rest amount of Rs. 1,00000/-(One lack) will be paid by 1st week of May, 2022.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Informant has accepted the offer of the petitioner and undertakes to provide bank account details of the informant to the petitioner as early as possible.

Considering the aforestated facts, let the petitioner, above named in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with K. Nagar Case No. 254 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

The bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted by
