Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No.343 of 2021 registered for offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Considering the report of the Superintendent of Police, Khagaria that the petitioner was not involved in the business of illicit liquor, this application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

No.14145 of 2022(3) dt.16-05-2022 2/2 Accordingly, let petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise-1, Khagaria, in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No.343 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. The petitioner will visit Mansi Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
