Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is in custody since 8.8.2016 and trial has not been concluded as yet.

Having heard both sides and on perusal of report it appears that out of seven witnesses six have been examined and the case is pending for examination of I.O., who is on leave as reported by the Superintendent of Police, Vaishali, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. No.8991 of 2018 (4) dt.21-03-2018 2/2 to ensure the presence of the I.O. in court as and when he joins his duties from leave and the learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a reasonable period of time.
