The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Araria P.S. Case No. 606/2022 registered for the offence under 30(a)/32(1)(2)/36/41(1)(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act and Section 467/468/420 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 21.12.2022 and there is recovery of 3294 liters of foreign wine and beer.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed.
