The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 386/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that this petitioner along with others looted the shop of the informant on gun point and threatened to pay extortion subsequently, the informant paid Rs.8,000/- to the co-accused Kundan but ultimately they damaged the articles of the shop worth Rs.90,000/-.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation is not specific against this petitioner. A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20230 of 2015 (2) dt.30-04-2015 2/2 The aforesaid facts constitute good ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail.

Let the learned Court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No.579 of 2014, pending before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai keeping in view of the fact that coaccused Kundan has been granted regular bail vide Criminal Miscellaneous No.7687 of 2015.

With the above observation, this application is, accordingly, disposed off.
