1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the victim.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the victim submits that petitioner is a dreaded criminal and carried award of Rs.2 lakhs on his head and process under Sections 82 and 83 Cr.P.C. has already been issued.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that process under Sections 82 and 83 Cr.P.C. has been issued.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the victim and the fact that

No.16575 of 2024(3) dt.26-04-2024 2/2 process under Sections 82 and 83 has been issued, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Baheri P.S. Case No. 219 of 2023 pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VII, Darbhanga/Successor Court.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
