Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.

The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Raghunathpur P.S. Case No.220 of 2021 registered for offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the application on behalf of petitioner no. 2, namely, Manjesh Ram.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14491 of 2022(2) dt.08-04-2022 2/2 Permission is accorded.

The application for anticipatory bail is dismissed as withdrawn so far as petitioner no. 2, namely, Manjesh Ram is concerned.

So far as prayer of petitioner no.1, who is the wife of petitioner no.2 is concerned, considering the fact that she is a lady, her application for anticipatory bail is allowed. Accordingly, let petitioner no.1, namely, Asha Devi, in the event of her arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge Special Excise-2, Siwan in connection with Raghunathpur P.S. Case No.220 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
