The petitioner is seeking a direction from this Court to the respondents to transfer petitioner's name in the place of his grandfather, who is a licensee of a Fair Price Shop under the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016, vide Licence No.50/2006.

Patna High Court CWJC No.7845 of 2021(2) dt.04-02-2022 2/2 It is asserted that the petitioner's father had died in a police firing on 01.03.2006, whereafter a licence to run the Fair Price Shop was granted in favour of the petitioner's grandfather, since he was, at the said point of time, a minor. Mr. N.K. Agrawal, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has not been able to point out any provision under the Control Order, 2016 which permits such transfer of licence.

In our opinion, the relief sought in the present writ application is misconceived and is dismissed accordingly. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) (Madhuresh Prasad, J) PNM U
