JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-06-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner, informant and the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in relation to Complaint Case No.224 (C) of 2014 instituted under Sectioon498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act by his estranged wife.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only dispute is that she insists to stay separately. Be that as it may, denying bail at this stage to the petitioner would be detrimental to whatever is left to the matrimonial relationship. In the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, the petitioner, namely, Rajeev Ranjan Mehta alias Banti, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand)

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17895 of 2015 (02) dt.11-06-2015 2/2 with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Barh in connection with Complaint Case No.224(C) of 2014, subject to all conditions as laid down in Section-438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
