JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 11-04-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court twice with direction to learned trial court to conclude the trial within a period of four months.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that four months period has already expired and trial has not been concluded and petitioner is in custody since 17.3.2017. Heard learned APP also. From perusal of report it appears that statement of accused has been recorded and the case is fixed for defence.
Having heard both sides and in view of aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it as soon as possible without giving
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10946 of 2018 (3) dt.11-04-2018 2/2 unnecessary adjournment.
