JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 10-07-2019 Petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. C1/1672 of 2017 instituted for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Since both the parties have appeared, the matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre vide order dated 18.6.2019 and both the parties were directed to appear there. The Mediator's report at Flag 'M' shows that the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation in terms of an agreement arrived at between the parties, which is attached to the report. In the said circumstances, let petitioner in the event of arrest or surrender be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Sadar Sitamarhi, in connection with Complaint Case No. C1/1672/17, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. and further condition is that petitioner has to abide by the agreement mutually arrived at between the parties. It is also expected that opposite party No.2 shall also abide by the terms and conditions mutually agreed upon them. This application is, accordingly, disposed of.
