Patna High Court CWJC No.5001 of 2016(6) dt.28-11-2019 2/3 The present writ petition is directed against the office order dated 30.11.2015, contained in Memo No. 7039, issued by Respondent No. 4 / the District Manager, Bihar State Food & Civil Supplies Corporation, Madhubani, District - Madhubani, whereby the services of the petitioner has been terminated.

The induction of the petitioner in the service was on the basis of a contract for one year, which continued to be renewed. Ultimately, while the petitioner was employed as Executive Assistant at one Centre of the corporation, an allegation was levelled against him and other persons of having embezzled the fund in the process of procuring paddy for the year 2014-2015. Based on the enquiry report with respect to the role of the petitioner in such embezzlement, the contract was terminated.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition in order to enable the petitioner to pursue his remedy
